Where do I begin? It's been a hectic Summer so far! We were finally able to finish our last makeups this weekend before the Summer session came to an end. So sad to be leaving Tutu School, but classes will resume again in the Fall! Now, if only I can convince my husband...it is definitely worth the drive!!!
Our little ballerina went from being a shy, little baby to a BEAUTIFUL little sugar plum fairy!!! She really has amazed me with all that she can do now! She twirls around even at home in her little tutu, she is just too cute! For most of the last quarter, I had to carry her and constantly be next to her, but now into the second quarter, she is a solo little dancer! And doesn't even remember I am there half the time! Talk about a huge milestone!!!
So, as you know, we did our very last two makeups on both Saturday & Sunday.....so it's been a little busy this weekend. But, I am so glad I did it back to back!!! On Saturday, she did the makeup class with the 2 years olds and on Sunday.. she did the makeup with the 4 and 5 year olds! I was impressed when she was able to keep up with their little routine, it was definitely more advanced than what she is acustomed to! She totally enjoyed it though... and did her leaps over the pink "mud puddle" and everything!!!
The thing about Tutu School is that aside of being a great ballet program for children, it is also very educational!!! My little one has learned her shapes, animals, and moves! Teacher Genevieve is such an AMAZING teacher and Tutu School has such a wonderful program for all ballet dancers and even the little aspiring ballerinas too! She is also a ballerina herself, she is quite talented! And the little ones are so blessed to have her as their teacher! Her energy level always amazes me! I love Tutu School! We have referred several friends... and they even do birthday parties too!
