♥ Princess K's Update ♥ ♥Almost Forgot! November 9, 2007??



I'm sure everyone is wondering about my little K...and since i havent
updated my blog in a while..I figured I would do a lil update...

She's 17.5 months now, WOW!! ANd her Preschool teacher says she has
strong vocab skills and loves it when we have our little
conversations, lol!!! (We go to preschool together and its so much
fun!!!)

Surprisingly, she seems to understand everything I tell her since she
tends to response to certain commands, words, emotions, etc.
Not only that but her teacher says she has EXCELLENT MOTOR SKILLS as
well!! YAYAYAY!! Mommy must be doing something right :P.. So...thats
basically how our parent/teacher conference went... AND OMG...She
walked up and down the staircase in class SEVERAL TIMES!! I nearly
freaked-out.. lol...so this is also why she has great motor skills!

She says a lot of words, but her newest so far is "OVAL!" I taught her
that ALONG WITH "WASH" Since im so paranoid about germs, lol! Her next
word will be "BACTERIA" LOL!! BUT HER NEWEST SENTECE THAT SHE SAYS
CLEARLY IS " I LOVE YOU!" ITS AMAZING....WHAT A LITTLE LOVE CAN DO FOR
YOUR LITTLe ONE :).. SO BE SURE TO SAY " I LOVE YOU" TO YOUR LITTLE
ONES ALL THE TIME!! AND SHE BLOWS KISSES TOO LOL!!! TOTAL FLIRT!!

She is also learning about THINGS THAT GO~ SO MAINLY, TRAINS, BUSES,
TRUCKS, TRACTORS, airplanes & sailboats for now...so she tries to say
certain words..but it will def take some time til we get more
advanced. She spots out airplanes in the sky, talk about great 20/20+
vision! shesh! Even Daddy needs help in that department lol!

And this is amazing..but I was reciting the alphabet the other day,
but differently since Id rather have her learn how to pronounce each
letter first...so we associated each letter and sound with something
she is familiar with and we went thru most of it and when I got to the
letter C, I said Cat (and she meowed) lol.. and so on.. its so cute!!
LOL.. you have to try it if you have a toddler that loves animals!

Speaking of which... we're getting a kitty tomorrow!! lol! My Princess
Nala is coming home~YAY!! But shhh don't tell RYAN HahAHAHA...Kiara
will be SOO HAPPY! She loves NALA! I think she likes Cats way more
than Dogs too btw. And I dont blame her hahah jK.

What else... Oh yeah...she's also learning her shapes~cute!!! She
already has her opposites down.. and she's had them down for a while
now~its funny when she wants to sit down...she says "down!".... lol...
And of course to get up, she says "UP!".. smartie pants!!

So....I really didnt have a need for baby signing, which is awesome!!
I hear signing can sometimes DELAY LANGUAGE???? So..thats why I
decided to NOT teach it to her! Funny tho Because she has learned some
signs from Baby einstein lol!

I guess signing would help when toddlers get frustrated or upset cause
they sometimes forget to use words! ...so i need to remind her to use
her words, but a Mother always seems to know what the problem is, it's
a Mommy's instinct. And I know her pretty well, so it doesn't take a
brain surgeon to figure out her needs and wants :P.

Aside of that...she is in the process of some intense potty
training...we introduced her to the potty at 1....so she knows about
it...but doesn't seem to like it very much. She is currently watching
Dora and sitting on her potty. It seems to be the only way to have her
sit on it for long periods lol. She managed to tinkle a bit in
it...which is awesome!! But she prefers to go in the carpet actually
lol.. maybe we'll have a potty party for her soon to praise her for
her efforts!

Anyway..I promised this would be short..but it never is... so ill try
to update more in a few weeks :D... and let you all know how my potty
training is going!

p.s. I just got the cookbook: "Deceptively Delicious" And I love it!!
It's soo cute..and I think I can trick my husband with some of the
recipes!! lol.. he can be a lil brat when it comes to certain foods!!

And btw, Has Anyone tried G-diapers?? I wanted to get some feedback on
them as I may consider it over the conventional stuff for
night-time--since the conventional stuff & baby wipes seem to irritate
my lil one (even if i change it right away--sucks) :(.

Well, Hope everyone is well. Recent Pics will soon be posted! I have
tons esp from Disneyland, Preschool, etc.
